Her er Kyles tanker før kampen:
Hva var dine tanker og forventninger til kommende sesong?
– At the beginning of the season i was as hopeful as i am every season. I wanted us to at least be in the mix for a top six spot. After the form of the first few weeks my hopefulness turned more into confidence. Oh but what a fool I was.
Hvilke lag tror du rykker opp fra League One i år?
– Giving the constant results Wednesday and Plymouth manage to get i dont see past them 2 for the automatics. Without actually watching them and only seeing results i feel Derby will be the team to win Playoffs. Maybe i should stick a few kroners on that.
– As above, my hopefulness was turned into confidence which then turned in to despair. Oh the life of a Pompey fan. We have had many good points this season, however, there has been more negative.
Har du planer om å få til en tur over for å se Pompey i løpet av 2022/23?
– I was home for Christmas and managed to watch the 2-2 vs Ipswich. Would of preferred to come home with 3 points of course. Great to be there and celebrate that fantastic free kick by pack!
– Friends/Family/Sosial media.
Har du noen favorittspillere i dagens Pompey-spillerstall?
– I have always had a fondness for exciting players. Players that can make something happen. Something which we often lack in years gone by. Even with his lack of end product, Owen Dale is probably my favourite player. Yet again my favourite players is a loanee. When will i ever learn?
– I could see everything the Cowleys were trying to do and i liked it. You could quite clearly see though that the players could not follow through with the Cowleys requests. I feel that their ideas and the ways they had to convey them were wrong for this club when we are still in league 1. I supported them until it was clear in my mind that we needed a change. It was the right decision to make and i applauf the owners for that.
John Mousinho er ansatt som ny manager. Dine tanker om den ansettelsen?
– Strange one this. From the talk out of Oxford he was held in very high regard and was in place to take the reigns there. The fact he was also Chairman of the PFA is a very positive thing. He gives us one of the things that the Cowleys massively lacked. Experience as a player. I feel this is a vital point in management in the lower leagues. Since he has taken over he has impressed me hugely. You can see the style and tactics he is trying to implement, his persona both on the touchline and with the press is very good. Im going to say that the future looks alot brighter then in did previously.
– I have never liked us playing Accrington, whether thats for their clever use of tactics and phsyicallity im not sure. It will be a tough game as every game in this league is. My preferred team: GK – Macey RB – Rafferty RCB – Ragget LCB – Towler LB – Ogilvie CDM – Thompson RCM – Lowery LCM – Morrel RW – Dale ST- Bishop LW – Lane This game could go either way. Our season is dead in the water and we have nothing left to play for. Saying that, the players need to fight for their spot and for the right to be a big part of whatever we do next season. Im going with a 2-1 win to the boys in Blue.
– Firstly and as always – PUP! Secondly, im missing the banter and the mutual affiliation for Pompey. If anyone if the Oslo area wants to attends games together i think that would be a great idea!
