Harness var hård ved sin gamle klub.
Et hattrick af Marcus Harness inklusiv et mål sat ind med hælen, halvandet selvmål af Tom Naylor og et mål af vores egen Jack Whatmough. Der var gang i den i Burton da vi endelig noterede os for sæsonens første sejr i en kamp, hvor Harness leverede en pragtpræstation, men hvor det også blev tydeligt, hvorfor at hjemmeholdet nu har lukket ti mål ind i fire kampe.
Med sejren strøg vi op på 11. pladsen i League One, hvor flere klubber som var tippet til topplaceringer har fået en halvsløj start. Således ligger Oxford United efter 4. Spillerunde nr, 18, Fleetwood er nummer 21 og under stregen mens Blackpool ligger lige efter på en 22. plads. To klubber, Lincoln City og Hull City, har maksimumpoints med 12 af slagsen.

“It’s a first win in the league this season – and we did need it. I’m sure the players will gain confidence from that. We played very well in the first half and created plenty of chances, but then gave two bad goals away. But we closed the back door in the second period and looked a lot more solid defensively, allowing us to really push on. The previous week at Wigan saw us lose our way a little bit and we were determined not to let that happen again.”
