Hovedtrener John Mousinhos kommentarer

«We’re delighted to get this deal over the line and bring in a proven Championship player. He’s performed highly at this level over the past couple of seasons and is someone we’ve come up against a number of times.

Ebou will provide a huge amount of energy and athleticism in the middle of the park and I’m looking forward to working with him. He was the club captain at Derby and has a lot of leadership qualities, so we feel that he’s a massive addition to the squad.”

Ebou Adams sine kommentarer til overgangen

«I’m absolutely buzzing and can’t wait to get going. I’m looking forward to expressing myself and feel this is the club to do that. I’d heard the move was in the pipeline a while ago and was just focused on where I was at the time, but was excited when I was told that I could come down here.

The manager actually tried to sign me previously before I went to Derby, so now I want to give him 100 per cent and help the project move forward. I’ve played against you guys a few times – and scored a goal – so it’s nice that we’re now friends and family.

The atmosphere inside the stadium is always absolutely incredible. With that and then also the history of the club, coming here was a no-brainer and I’m excited to get on the pitch at Fratton Park. I’ll bring a voice, energy and enthusiasm. I will be non-stop to stop attacks and start them and most importantly, I’ll be enjoying my football.

I will give absolutely everything to provide the fans with great memories. My big thing is to try to put smiles on people’s faces. I love winning the ball back and making blocks, while also getting into the box at the other end to get goals. I enjoy keeping the team ticking.

There are a lot of games left this season and I just want to come into the team and help everyone to push on.”
