«Florian is a really exciting player, who played a fair bit up front for Swansea. We see him being used more on either wing, where he can use his pace to take on opponents in one-v-one situations.

He was also one of the most exciting players in the league for Bastia before he came over here to join Swansea. So we believe there’s a lot that Florian can offer us and we’re delighted to add him to our attacking options.”

Florian Bianchinis kommentarer

«I feel so happy to be here and am excited to start the new season with Pompey. I wanted to join a club with a big potential and I really liked what the manager said to me when I chatted with him. He spoke to me about what I could do for the side and I also wanted to stay in the Championship if that was possible. I was told all about the size of Pompey and the fact there is a big fanbase here, along with some good players.

The atmosphere was great when I played here with Swansea last season and the fans were crazy because of the result. It was important for me to join a team that wanted to improve and the manager also said he saw a lot of potential in me.

Last season was my first outside of France and although I did alright, I know I can do better – that’s what I’m here to do. I will do my best to get goals and assists for Pompey to help the team have the best season we possibly can.”
