Clout fikk proffkontrakt

Harry Clout fikk – som eneste spiller fra akademiet – proffkontrakt i sommer. Midtbanespilleren har skrevet under på en ettårskontrakt.

NYHETER: Den 18 år gamle midtbanespilleren (fyller 19 senere i år) har gått gradene på Pompeys akademi og har lenge blitt omtalt som den meste lovende fra Pompeys 2006-kull.

Han debuterte for Pompeys førstelag i FA-cupkampen mot Wycombe i januar. Det er foreløpig hans eneste førstelagskamp, men han var ubenyttet innbytter i kampene mot Luton, Middlesbrough og Bristol City i vår.

Mens Clout nå har fått proffkontrakt, fortsetter altså ikke karrieren til Cody Howard, Jayden Keteku, Connor May og Luke Staight i Pompey. De har nå blitt frigitt og forlater Fratton Park.

It tops off a great season that saw him make his debut at Wycombe in the FA Cup and while he deserves the plaudits, I’d also like to make a special mention to all the academy staff who have helped him reach this point», kommenterer akademimanager Greg Miller.

John Mousinho kommenterer også Clouts signering av hans første proffkontrakt: «Harry impressed when he joined up with the first team last season and is a promising young player.This professional contract is thoroughly deserved and we’re excited to see how he develops with us in the coming weeks and months.”
