Hovedtrener John Mousinho sier: «We’re delighted to bring in another player who has plenty of experience competing at this level of the game. We’ve now have real competition in the left-back position and I can’t wait to get started working with Cohen.”

Cohen Bramalls kommentarer til overgangen
«It feels really good to be here at this club and I’m absolutely buzzing that everything got sorted. Everything was 100 miles per hour and when I got told that it was all done, I got in a car and travelled down to Portsmouth as quickly as I could. The gaffer and Rich told me how much they admired my athleticism and the attributes I have on the pitch.
I had two seasons in the Championship with Rotherham and this is another platform for me to express myself. We’ll have to show resilience and to be robust – this is a massive team effort and everyone’s going to need each other.
Playing at Fratton Park years ago when I was at Arsenal [in the EFL Trophy] was class, but it wasn’t as packed out as it usually is, so that’s what I’m looking forward to the most. I want to go out there, play as much football as I can and show the fans – as well as myself and my family – just what I can do.
I like being at left-back and able to run from a deeper position, but I can also play as a wing-back or on the winger. More recently, and this has surprised me, I’ve been used in the centre of midfield and have enjoyed that.”
