Henter Brighton-spiss på lån

Den irske u-landslagsspissen Mark O’Mahony kommer til Pompey på lån fra Premier League-klubben Brighton.

NYHETER: Det var travle dager for Pompey før transfervinduet stengte. Én av de som kom inn dørene er den 19 år gamle spissen Mark O’Mahony.

O’Mahony kommer på lån fra Premer League-klubben Brighton. Låneperioden er hele 2024/25-sesongen.

19-åringen er irsk ungdomslandslagsspiller og har rukket å både få sin Premier League-debut og score sitt første førstelagsmål for Brighton etter at han kom til klubbens akademi i januar 2023.

«Mark has been involved for Brighton during pre-season, as well as featuring the other night. It was brilliant for him to get those minutes and make such a strong contribution, while everyone there speaks incredibly highly of him.

He’s a striker who can hold the ball up well and link play, while also getting in the box to score goals.

Mark is a real physical presence and he has a lot of the attributes we want to see from a centre-forward, so I’m looking forward to working with him.»
