Et meget flot mål var højdepunktet i en kamp med mange udskiftninger og tre prøvespillere.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening watching #Pompey beat Hawks 3-0. Take a bow Harry Clout (number 16), who caught everyone’s eye. Other highlights Towler’s 25-yard lobbed goal, great team move for Sean Patton’s goal, and Reuben Swann. Oh and the kids did very well in final 30 mins. pic.twitter.com/LAGBFcFtBW

Portsmouth manager John Mousinho:
“If you saw the first 10 minutes then it looked like it was going to become a very tricky encounter.
“Havant & Waterlooville came right at us – as you would expect – but once the boys settled, I thought we played some really good football.
“We also came out with real purpose at the start of the second half and deserved to be two goals ahead.
“I know that Ryley has got that drive from deep and we’ve seen that confidence from him in pre-season, although I’m not sure I can honestly say I thought he had that finish in him!
“He captained the side well, leading from the back and looking strong in possession, so he deserved the goal.
“I thought it was nice that we were able to make the changes and bring on nine of our academy players.
“There was 10 altogether because Harry Clout started the game and produced a very positive performance.
“We’ll probably now make 11 changes for the Bognor game on Saturday because it’s all about getting minutes into the boys.”
