Fant Dozzells erstatter i Norge

«We’re delighted to continue our summer transfer activity with the signing of Rocco. He will provide us with plenty of physicality in the centre of the pitch, but is also someone who is very comfortable on the ball.

Rocco has already made a great deal of progress over the past few years and is still young, so we feel he can continue to improve with us.»

Kommentarer fra Rocco Shein

«It’s a pleasure to be here at Pompey and able to meet everyone – I’m really excited. My dream has always been to play in England because of the football culture here, which is different to in Europe. I saw the opportunity to come to the perfect club for my development.

I heard about the first interest around a month ago and it’s been developing from there, so I’m happy it’s worked out. The fans are crazy and they demand a lot, so I’m really looking forward to performing in front of them all.

Fredrikstad was an amazing club and they treated me like family. I was so happy there and it was a bit sad to leave, but I’m here now at Pompey and the journey continues. It was a physical and demanding league that is quite similar to the Championship, although this is obviously a bit higher. I would say that I’m a creative, box-to-box ‘number eight’. I’m a hard-working midfielder and like to move with the ball and find spaces.

Adrian Segecic was my best friend in Holland, so it’s amazing that I come here and he’s already here. He said a lot of good things about this club.»
