NYHETER: Tayo Singerr spilte to kamper for Pompey og scoret ett mål (i ligacupen) forrige sesong.

– Michael, Chinedu and Nathaniel all impressed me with their attitudes when training with the first team last season. They all fully deserve these deals and will now need to keep working hard to continue their development as professional footballers, sier John Mousinho til Pompeys offisielle nettside.
We're delighted to announce that Chinedu Agu, Michael Ani and Nathaniel Chioma have all signed their first professional deals.
Congratulations, lads! 💙

Kommentarer fra akademimanager James Barlow
“I would like to wish Beau, Conal, Oscar, Jermaine, Reggie and Ciaran every success for the future. They have been a credit to Portsmouth Football Club throughout their time in the academy and have each made a positive impact to our environment. Their commitment, sacrifice and willingness to learn and develop – both as players and as young men – have been admirable.
I would also like to thank their parents and families for the support they have provided throughout their journeys. Many of these players joined the club as young boys and leave us as mature young men – and we are proud to have played a part in their development. Everyone at the club wishes them the very best in their future endeavours.
We are also delighted to reward Michael, Nathaniel and Chinedu with professional contracts following the successful completion of their scholarship programmes. Across the past two seasons, they have consistently delivered strong performances for the academy, demonstrated their capabilities when training with the first team and shown the character, professionalism and attitude required to continue developing within a Championship environment.
They have earned a fantastic opportunity to progress their careers and we look forward to supporting them on the next stage of their journeys.
This is another positive outcome for the academy and follows the recent news of Tayo signing his professional contract. Tayo has enjoyed an excellent breakthrough season, scoring against Reading in the Carabao Cup and making his league debut against Bristol City.
These proud accolades mean we finished the last campaign with 10 Championship matchday squad inclusions across the academy. These achievements reflect the continued hard work within the academy and the dedication of the players, staff and families who contribute to their development every day.”
