Forlater Pompeys trenerteam

Zesh Rehman har vært utviklingstrener i Pompey siden John Mousinho kom til klubben. Nå fortsetter han karrieren i en ny klubb.

NYHETER: Zesh Rehman kom til Pompey for å jobbe med akademiet i 2022. Etter at Danny og Nicky Cowley måtte gå, ble han forfremmet til førstelaget og han har jobbet tett på førstelagets hovedtrener John Mousinho siden han kom inn i januar 2023.

Han har jobbet som utviklingstrener (development coach) på førstelaget siden januar 2023 og har tatt del i oppturen klubben har hatt under John Mousinho.

Nå har Rehman, som har landskamper for Pakistan, valgt å forlate Pompey til fordel for jobb i Saudi-Arabia. Pompey har ikke ansatt noen ny person i trenerteamet ennå.

«After three-and-a-half wonderful years at Pompey, it’s time for a new chapter. Thank you to everyone at the club for the wonderful memories. I will always the appreciate the opportunity I was given by Richard Hughes and Andy Cullen to transition from the academy to the first team.

The journey from winning League One to maintaining Championship status was special to be a part of. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all the staff to help develop players, regardless of age or status, in the squad.

“I wish all the players the best for the rest of the season and their future careers. My family and I will always have fond memories of the community and city.”
