Forlenget sin kontrakt med Pompey

Nicolas Schmid har vært en stor suksess etter at han kom til Pompey i fjor sommer. Denne uken forlenget han sin kontrakt med klubben.

NYHETER: Vår 28 år gamle keeper fra Østerrike har skrevet under på en forlenget kontrakt med Pompey som strekker seg ut 2028/29-sesongen. Hans kontrakt gikk egentlig ut etter denne sesongen (Pompey hadde opsjon på ytterligere ett år), men nå har altså Schmid kontrakt med Pompey i 3,5 år til.

Han ble nummer tre, bak Josh Murphy og Connor Ogilvie, i kåringen av årets Pompey-spiller forrige sesong og han ble i mai tatt ut på det østerrikske A-landslaget for første gang. Denne høsten har han vært ute med skade, som han pådro seg i bortekampen mot Saints, men han er nå tilbake og leverer på høyt nivå uke etter uke.
